IDEAS: Film opening

 Hello everyone !

This are some of the ideas that I have for our film opening.

 

 

I had the idea to make this production unique, so that’s why me and my colleague veronica Pavlova called our production company ‘’UNIQUE PRODUCTIONS’’.

My own idea:

·         Flashback: I thought that would be very nice to start with the end of the movie but not finishing the movie just to start giving the audience the tension and intrigue so they want to carry on watching the movie, is also a very good idea to start like this so we show from the beginning of the movie that our genre is drama and show all the emotions of the girl

 

 

·         Good show of emotions: It is very important for a drama movie to show and transmit to the audience all the feelings that the characters have. The camera shots and effects are playing a very important role. I thought that if we add some slow motion effects with many close ups at important scenes we will transmit to the audience what is going on in a better way.

TO A SAD LIFE.

·         Sound: The sound in my opinion at the beginning of our introduction has to go with the camera work plus the plot. It is very important to attach the audience in a very emotional way given the case that we are planning to start with the end of the movie, so is necessary to make this understand to the audience, I was thinking to change the sound when the scene changes from the end to the beginning to show that we are actually starting with the end, so I was thinking that the song must change to show the different stages of the girl’s life.

·         The point of view of the girl blurry would make the audience see how she is viewing everything in a very confusing way.

 

 

 

My idea is to use a girl as the main character and show her problems in a very smart way of filming. The whole idea is to transmit to the audience her feelings and problems. I have been discussing some ideas with my colleague Veronika and we both decided to use DRUGS as the main problem of this girl, which is a teenager, more vulnerable to get addicted to drugs. It is very important to show her thoughts but not why she is addicted because this is an idea to impress the audience and make them be intrigued about the story and why of her addiction and how did everything started. I was thinking to start the movie with a mid-establishing shot of her closing the door in a very brutal way and her shouting at her mother. This shows problems, after camera follows her in the bathroom, camera editing changes everything slows down and we see her taking drugs.
